July

We had a great time with my friend Karla and her kiddos, Leah and Blake for a day!  Lots of water fun!  We have been keeping busy when the heat is too much for this mama...by painting, beeswax fun, tea parties, cooking etc.  Im slowing down a bit now that we are into the third trimester with this pregnancy!  Im a bit uncomfortable, which happened with Lucy's pregnancy too--just not this early.  So, slow and easy...lots of movies, lots of books....Lucy has been pretty patient with me and Luke is taking on a lot of the house stuff now, on top of working long hours.  Bless his heart.    LIttle baby is kicking a TON!  altho i would appreciate it if she would rise up a bit ...she's laying pretty low!  A little stinker already! :)  She gets the hiccups quite a bit and Lucy enjoys watching/feeling her squirm around!  We painted the baby room and are getting lots done around here (well I WAS doing alot, til i needed to slow down...now luke is getting a lot done!)  Almost august!  Summer flies by!

Family Frogs and summer eating!

We had our niece Evelyn and the hwole Hall side here last weekend, and captured a few beautiful pics of her!  Lucy is loving all the outside time she is getting this summer.  Frogs are plentiful in our backyard!  She caught one and put it on the fairy swing.  It had a little ride! Then it proceeded to jump OFF the upper deck.  I assume it hopped away--but it was quite the jump!  The pics of lucy snapping beans was a fun time for her too.  We then cooked them up a little on the stove and had them for dinner!  summer fun!  AC out again....(now if our air would stay working.....) that would be nice!

Como Zoo for Olive's 2nd Birthday!

What a fun weekend it has been!  Spent the afternoon at Como Zoo yesterday for Miss O's 2nd bday!  Lots of fun!  Lucy and Olive had a blast together!  Then a sleepover at our house and family breakfast this morning!  Along with presents!  Katie Chris Luke and I went to a how today, Blue Man Group, while Grama Michelle and Papa Dave watched the girls!  The girls both did great and we enjoyed quite an entertaining show!  Blue Man Group plus being pregnant equals active baby!  Lots of movement during the show!  Fun times!  Now relaxing on the couch, and listening to the thunder roll in...nice quiet evening ahead.  Thanks to Katie Chris and Dave and Michelle for a fun weekend!  

What  FUN day this was!  We had our ultrasound at 1030 AM but decided to do a something special to reveal the sex of the baby...so we waited til mid afternoon to find out! Such intense anticipation!   I was so relieved at the ultrasound appointment that baby was healthy and everything looked good!  Baby heartbeat was at 140 beats per minute.  Everything was wonderful!  I even liked the ultrasound tech...who happened to be an OB.  Best OB I've seen ever.  We went to Holy Name Lake by our house to do the balloon release and it was perfect.  We are all so excited!  NOw i can really start thinking about the baby room.....:).  I feel so blessed.  God is good.

Spending our days outside!

We are VERY MUCH SO enjoying all the time we are spending outside!  So much fun!  Parks, plants, beaches, picnics, etc!  Lucy has been particularly enjoying running through the sprinkler and helping with the plants! She planted her own seeds this year as well!  Pictures to come soon! The picture of her on the tire swing is at her new school she started a couple of months ago.  She is loving going to play with her friends a couple of days a week.  When i pick her up she is happy and in need of a bath! :)  THey play in the dirt, collect "jewels" that the fairies leave in the gardens, play in wooden playhouses in the yard.  Its such a wonderful place for her to grow and learn!  She has become friends with many little ones!  I started this new blog, because i cannot get into the old one, so i decided FINALLY to start a new one!
